HR Chronicle Adds Support for (ADFS) / SAML

Your favorite hr and payroll solution, HR Chronicle now supports Authentication of users / employees used in the Self Service Module in HR Chronicle with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) or previously known as SAML.

What this means is, Employees who access Employee Self Service in HR Chronicle or any other users of HR Chronicle will be able to authenticate through your existing Microsoft Active Directory using SAML Protocol, there will be no need to provide the users/employees with an extra set of credentials to use HR Chronicle.

With more and more infrastructure being shifted to the cloud in other data centers and a more complex hybrid approach being followed, which means some applications reside on the locally on premise of the organization and some on the cloud, there is a need to introduce secure, reliable, authentication methods, so users do not need to remember an extra set of username and passwords for applications hosted on the cloud in other data centers.

Integrating the standard SAML Protocol or ADFS in HR Chronicle does exactly just that, with an easy setup procedure and simply linking the username of the active directory domain to the employee in HR Chronicle, employees will be able to use the same login information they use for their network, eliminating the need to remember one more username and password i.e. an extra set of credentials.

Allowing more control when it comes to revoking and granting access is yet another advantage of integrating with ADFS.

HR Chronicle can also use LDAP Protocol for Authentication with Active Directory.
