Bonus

Bonus can be defined as the amount of money paid to an employee in addition to the normal take-home salary. The amount can be performance-based when you achieve certain targets like sales commission, or it can be a yearly bonus based on yearly performance appraisal results.

Usually, bonuses are paid to salespeople for achieving certain targets monthly, quarterly or yearly. Bonuses are also random; ly paid and do not necessarily have a fixed pattern.
