Connecting the dots; Best is not necessarily the right one

Often it seems, that going for the best solution, may seem to be a right choice.  What one should also consider, is that, it is not about having the best software in terms of technology, usability and other related features, but rather focusing on finding the right software for your needs.  You may have the best cloud based hr and payroll software but the technology overhead to maintain that software, the new hardware and additional software costs, your IT department might have to incur,  may be out of the budget and not make it a prudent business decision, sure enough it will do what you like it to do, but are you willing to hire a new HR Team, a new programmer, a new technology expert just to manage the best software you found, because you can see your competitors, associates, industry reviews are all pointing to the use of the so called best software.

There is nothing as best in the technology world, we all have heard stories of organizations, which were best, but failed to stick around, at the top.  That is where my definition of the best, comes in.  The best solution or software for any organization, is the one which is right for the organization.  Picking the right one is very specific to a particular scenario, firstly identify the needs correctly, what is the expectation, as they say, planning is very important, so plan properly and find the solution which matches your needs, that may not be labeled as the best when you go for industry reviews, but that might just be the perfect solution, you are looking to implement.  If the solution offers you the right nuts and bolts to fulfill your needs, that is the BEST solution you can ever have, there are many things to consider, when choosing a solution, you may visit here for a more detailed post on how you can avoid being cornered by your HR software provider.
